Rates & Payment Options · Central Florida

Talk about the cost as openly as the care.

A useful care plan has to make sense for the household. Tell us the assistance and schedule you are considering, and the team can explain current rates, applicable discounts and the payment questions to resolve before care begins.

Understand the schedule

The amount of care shapes the conversation.

Four-hour minimum visits

A visit can combine personal care, meals, companionship, light housekeeping or other agreed support. Discuss how the time can be used around the person’s routine.

Overnight and 24-hour support

Describe the help required after bedtime and during the day. Ask about the current 24-hour rate and applicable discount, and how coverage will be arranged.

Couples and shared households

Ask about the couples discount and how each person’s needs would be assessed. Living together does not mean both people require the same assistance.

Nights, weekends and holidays

Absolute’s existing rate information states no extra charge for nights or weekends. Confirm the current terms for your schedule and ask separately about holidays or other charges.

Payment routes

Different options have different requirements.

01

Long-term care insurance

Absolute works with many policies. Verify eligible services, provider requirements, claim procedures and benefit limits.

02

Veterans and families

Ask about the immediate-family discount and certain VA-related benefit situations, including Aid and Attendance.

03

Private pay and Medicaid questions

Private pay is available. Approved Medicaid programs require plan participation, eligibility and service authorization to be confirmed.

Before services begin

Know which costs are your responsibility.

Ask the office for the proposed schedule, rate and any applicable discount in clear terms. If a third party may pay, confirm the authorization and benefit arrangement rather than assuming a policy or program will cover every hour.

A Patient Supervisor is assigned from Day One to help create and monitor the individualized care plan at no additional cost. The existing site also lists a no-cost in-home evaluation; ask the team what the initial assessment process will involve for your situation.

Clear answers

Questions you may be asking

Have a different question? Your local office can talk through the details of your situation.

Do you offer a veteran discount?

Yes. The client-supplied information says the discount extends to immediate family when one family member has served. Ask the office to confirm qualifying relationships, documentation and the current amount or terms.

Do you accept Medicaid?

Absolute works with approved Medicaid programs. The office must confirm participation with the person’s plan, eligibility, authorization and covered services.

Can we begin with private pay while insurance is reviewed?

Discuss this with the office and insurer before making arrangements. Be clear about payment responsibility and whether any later reimbursement is available; it should not be assumed.

Are all services listed separately billed?

The service pages explain different needs. Several tasks may fit within one care plan and visit. Ask how your proposed schedule and assistance are priced.
